I like to make desserts to match the person receiving it. A friends birthday was approaching and I was like “Hey, lets make a dragon cake!” so we did.

It is really hard to find how-to videos and articles on dragon cakes, so I winged it by looking at drawn pictures and studying photos of dragon cakes online and designed my own through the information I gathered.

The cake flavors were designed to match the client’s personal taste for coffee, cheese, and dark chocolate. The combination created a great balance between the sweet and bitterness which was ideal for the addition of the sweet fondant and decorations on the dragon. The cake took approximately 3 partial days to create.

It’s almost 100% edible, there are some toothpicks for the horns and teeth in it and 1 dowel for body support. :)
